Netflix's series Adolescence starring Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, and Ashley Walters has received a fantastic response. It is a four-episode series and each episode has been shot in one take. The international series is also getting a very good response in India, and many Bollywood celebs like Shekhar Kapur, Alia Bhatt, Anurag Kashyap, and others have praised it. Now, of course, fans of the show are wondering if there will be a season 2 of it.

In an interview with Variety, the show's creators, Stephen Graham and Hannah Walters, opened up about their plans of making a season 2. Gharam said, “Possibly, let’s see how the figures are. But yeah, there’s the possibility of developing another story.”

However, Walter stated, “A prequel to Adolescence, that’s certainly not going to happen. But there’s so much mileage in the one-shot and so much mileage in investing into human nature again and looking at something else. But yeah, everything’s looking good… everyone’s happy, shall we say?”

Adolescence revolves around a 13-year-old boy who is accused of murdering a girl from his school. The series showcases how bullying and social media affects children nowadays.

Bollywood Celebs Praise Adolescence

Alia Bhatt on her Instagram had posted, "This show is truly perfection. From the writing to the staging to the EXCEPTIONAL cinematography - I wonder what it felt like when after an hour of calling action - to finally calling cut... how did the entire cast and crew feel. The performance by each and every person that has walked into frame and out was ALIVE.. real raw and so hot in the moment that the energy is very very palpable & so moving. The magic of storytelling and an entire crew coming together to deliver, every department giving nothing but their heart and soul to every second on screen. I'm in awe!!!"

Anurag Kashyap had shared that he is 'envious and jealous' that some can go and make a series like this.

Clearly, the concept of one-take episode has grabbed everyone's attention. It will be interesting to see if ever an Indian filmmaker will think of making a series like this.
