They first met on the sets of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, since then there are very few who know that Ranbir Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor have remained well in touch. While calling and catching up is not a liberty the stars have most of the time, both these dudes are people who have ensured thatthey don’t sign more than they can do, so they do ensure that as and when there is some free time, they catch up for a good session of gup. Given it is known to all that Ranbir is the gossip guru of the industry, it is rather weird to hear that the usually quiet Aditya seems to have managed to get a champion in him.
But even recently the two caught up with a few common friends and it looks like they were completely at ease with each other’s sense of humour. Any strain we might have thought Fitoor would have cause was not at all sensed between the hunks.
“It is a fact that while most the actors socialise together it is not often that we catch them really mingling without an occasion but it is really amazing to see Aditya and Ranbir Kapoor together. It is true that both of them have immense regard for each other. They are truly good friends who wish each other all the success. That’s what is the most special about this friendship,” said an industry insider.
Even when Aditya’s chips were down, Ranbir was one of the actors who kept telling all who would listen to not right off the man already. There’s more to him than meets the eye, he would say and while it is still taking Aditya a while there is an obvious acceptance around him and his craft.
