Aahana Kumar scared for her safety took to twitter sharing details of her horrifying trip while she was held for ransom by a cab driver in the middle of her trip near Chandigarh on Sunday (March 24) evening.
Aahana who was traveling from Shimla to Amritsar had booked a ride for herself through MakeMyTrip on March 23. The actress paid for the trip on booking. The cab initially delayed for almost 4 hours from the starting point of her destination trip later took ever worse turn during the trip.
In the tweets shared, Aahana mentioned, the cab driver named Sushil, working for VD Travel, a car hire company, refused to move forward if he didn’t receive the payment through the online travel company into his account.
After trying to get in touch with Make My Trip and without getting a convincing response the actress even shared her tax invoice on Twitter.
The actress repeatedly insisted it is very unsafe and unethical for the company. She urged her fans to stay away from their booking for anyone’s future trips.
