UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu celebrate World Blood Donation Day

Every year 14 June is celebrated as World Blood Donation Day across the world. On this occasion, World Blood Donation Day was celebrated under the leadership of the Union Administrator and according to his instructions in the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu also. Under this, Blood Bank (Red Cross Society Silvassa), C.H.C. Blood donation camps were organized at Moti Daman and Government Hospital Diu. This time this blood donation camp is being run as a campaign for a week, which will be run from June 14 to June 20.

Like every year, industries and NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) of the Union have also made a special contribution to make this program a success. A target of donating 300 units of blood has been set in this blood donation camp. State AIDS Control Society and Red Cross Society are providing refreshments as well as certificates and incentive gifts to all blood donors under Donor Motivation. This time the Covid protocol was specially taken care of in the blood donation campaign.
