IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized IMC Digital Technology Awards 2021 on June 22, 2022 at IMC followed by Panel Discussion on Digital Transformation in MSME's
The Chamber institutes the IMC Digital Technology Awards for both Smartech Companies, End User Companies and Government Departments who have attained significant digital transformation in their operations and processes.
The most prominent of the awards bestowed at the IMC Digital Technology Awards has been the Lifetime Achievement Awards. These Awards, earlier were conferred upon the prominent stalwarts of the IT industry for their immense contribution towards ITeS.
Chief Guest of the Function, Harish Mehta, Author of Bestseller – The Maverick Effect, Founder – Onward Technologies Ltd. and Founding Member – NASSCOM, Founder President, TiE – Mumbai and Jury Members stated “Over the years the IT industry in India developed certain values of keeping India first, be consensus driven, have a single voice in any decision, collaborate and compete but have a sense of ownership at a country level, as if you are CEO of the country and bring that culture in the organization which ensured the success of the industry.
Winner of IMC Hinditron Late Hemant Sonawala Lifetime Achievement , Vineet Nayyar, Chairman, Mahindra Educational Institutions, Chairman Emeritus, Board of Management, Mahindra University quoted “In multiple situations problems are created not resolved, and all what one needs is simplicity in unravelling those situations. An efficient business is not exclusive command of the private sector, it can be done in public sector, it can be done anywhere, as long as you have integrity and you have a certain amount of belief that you are doing not only for the good of the country, but you are doing for the good of the business and if you are not doing for the good of your business, you are not serving your purpose.
This year totally 17 awards and 9 Certificates of Merit would be distributed.
