Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria, who will be next seen in the upcoming action-thriller 'Ek Villain Returns', is all set to make her debut as a playback singer too with the film.
The revelation was made during the trailer launch of 'Ek Villain Returns', which was held in the city on Thursday.
Tara was asked about the prep that she underwent to get into the skin of the character that she will be playing in the film. To that, she replied that though she was nervous in the beginning, it was a smooth sailing for her as her co-star Arjun Kapoor and director Mohit Suri made her feel comfortable.
"I did not know Arjun that well when we started shooting for 'Ek Villain Returns'. But as soon as we met on the first day, we were like a house on fire, and we not knowing each other personally actually helped us, as in the first half of the film, we are hating each other," she shared.
"I actually had to work more on my singing, as I'll be marking my playback singing debut with 'Ek Villain Returns'. I am also playing a rockstar in the film," she added.
Director Mohit Suri too heaped praise on Tara and mentioned that though not much can be revealed about the song yet, the team is sure that the audiences will fall in love with the actress' melodious voice.
Meanwhile, 'Ek Villain Returns' also stars Disha Patani and John Abraham in lead roles. It is a spiritual sequel to the 2014 action-thriller 'Ek Villain', which was also helmed by Mohit Suri.
The film is set to hit the silver screens on July 29, 2022.
