Veteran Bollywood actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9 after suffering a massive heart attack in Delhi. He was 66. Several Bollywood celebrities and politicians took to their respective social media accounts to mourn his sudden demise.
Veteran actress Neena Gupta's daughter, designer Masaba Gupta, shared a throwback picture of Satish Kaushik and penned an emotional note.
Taking to her Instagram account, Masaba shared a collage of three pictures featuring throwback stills of Neena Gupta, Satish Kaushik and Anupam Kher.
Before that Masaba took to her Instagram story to shared another throwback picture of her mother with Satish Kaushik and wrote, "Rest in peace, Kaushik uncle. You gave mom the greatest gift... Your kindness through all those years - we will miss you."

In her autobiography Sach Kahun Toh, Neena Gupta revealed that Satish Kaushik offered to marry her when she got pregnant. "Don't worry, if the child is born with dark skin, you can just say it's mine, and we'll get married. Nobody will suspect a thing," he said.
At that time, Neena was unmarried and she was anticipating backlash for having a child.
Satish Kaushik and Neena Gupta had been friends since 1975.
Satish Kaushik was a versatile actor, writer, director and producer, who made his mark in the Indian film industry with his captivating performances and unique sense of humour. He gained recognition in the 1980s and 1990s for his work in popular films such as 'Mr India', 'Saajan Chale Sasural', and 'Judaai'.
Over the years, Satish established himself as one of the most sought-after character actors in Bollywood.
