In the latest episode of 'Koffee with Karan 7', tables were turned and it was host Karan Johar this time who was quizzed about his relationship status on national television.
The latest episode saw Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan grace the coveted 'Koffee' couch and while they made some revelations of their own, Varun went on to prod KJo with his own set of questions, resulting into some spilling of beans.
It all started when Karan questioned the duo about infidelity in marriages, and Varun asked him why was he so interested in the subject.
While the filmmaker tried to evade the question saying, "I am interested in human behavious in general", it wasn't enough to stop Varun who went on to ask him, "Have you cheated in your relationship? Are you a cheater?"
And that is when the host finally revealed his relationship status.
"Am I cheating? I have to be in a relationship to cheat," KJo said.
Varun went on to ask, "So you are not saying that you are not in a relationship?" To which, Karan answered, "You know I’m not, and you know I broke up."
Varun then said, "That’s what I wanted to hear."
KJo also mentioned that Varun was one of the people who were very supportive of his relationship and also post his break up.
The filmmaker, however, ended the conversation with that and did not delve into the details of who the ex partner was.
On the work front, Karan is currently basking in the success of 'Brahmastra' which was produced by his Dharma Productions. He is also working on his next directorial titled 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', which stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
