Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently recalled her modelling days and how she was was humiliated by her agency because if her height. Kangana also revealed that she did not get proper modelling assignments in Delhi and was told that she is good for nothing.
Kangana left her home in Himachal Pradesh to follow her dreams and picked up modelling assignments to sustain herself in Delhi. However, after coming to Mumbai, she refused to go back to the national capital.
In one of her latest interviews, Kangana said she left home in Himachal when she was 12-13 years old.
Kangana reveals she was humiliated
"I stayed in Delhi for one to two years. In 2004, I came to Mumbai for a modelling assignment and then I threw away the phone my agency gave me. When they called me back (to Delhi) I even tore my ticket. I told them that I don't want to go back. Mujhe woh kaam karna hi nahi hai kyunki mujhe woh humesha modelling me nicha dikhate rehte the," Kangana said.
"Unko lagta tha ki Delhi me ramp model zyada hote hai. Uske liye 5'11 to 6 ft ki height chhaiye hoti hai ladkiyo ko. Aur meri height 5'7 hai. Main sara din baithi rehti thi. Mujhe kehte the aaj bhi kaam nhi mila tumhe, tumhara kuch nahi hone wala modelling mein," the actress added.
Kangana then started getting catalogue (shoots) and ads where she had to stand behind others. In 2006, the actress-producer made her Bollywood debut with the film Gangster and since then, there's no looking back for Kangana.
Today, Kangana is one of the most popular actresses. Over the years, she has delivered superhit films like Queen, Manikarnika, Tanu Weds Manu, Thalaivii, Fashion, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai among several others.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana has wrapped up shooting for Chandramukhi 2. She also has other films like Emergency, Tejas, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda and The Incarnation: Sita lined up.
