Veteran Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik died at the age of 66 after suffering heart attack in Delhi on March 9.

In nearly four decades in the Hindi film industry, he has indeed made a mark for himself and entertained the audience with some of the most memorable roles – be it Calendar in Mr. India or Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana.

In August 2020, the veteran star had shared a monochromatic throwback picture, in which he can be seen at a railway station with a bag on his shoulder and a suitcase kept on the platform. It is actually his first photo when he arrived in Mumbai.

Recalling his first morning in Mumbai, he had thanked his family, friends, and colleagues for giving him more than he dreamt. "I came to Mumbai to become an actor on 9th of August 1979 by Paschim Express. 10th Aug was the first morning in Mumbai. Mumbai gave Work, Friends, Wife, Kids, Home, Love, Warmth, Struggle, Success, Failures & Courage to live Happily. Good Morning Mumbai & All who gave me more than I dreamt," he had tweeted.

Satish Kaushik's death

The Tere Naam director was at his farmhouse in Delhi's Bijwasan where he started feeling unwell. He was then rushed to a hospital in Gurugram.

His post-mortem report suggests heart attack as his cause of death and no injury mark has been found in his body. Also, the actor breathed his last before he reached the hospital.

Satish Kaushik arrived in Delhi on March 8 to celebrate Holi with his friends. Before jetting off to the national capital, he celebrated the festival in Mumbai with Javed Akhtar, Mahima Choudhry, Ali Fazal and other celebs.
