Kartik Aaryan is undoubtedly the most sought after star in Bollywood right now after his last release 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' emerged to be a blockbuster.
While it was known that Kartik is set to collaborate with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for a yet-to-be-titled film, looks like the duo has finally found a director for it. The film will be helmed by none other than ace director Kabir Khan.
Nadiadwala took to social media on Monday to announce the update and also shared that the film will be based on a true story. Dropping a picture of Kartik, Kabir and himself, he wrote, "Happy to announce our next, directed & jointly produced by @kabirkhankk starring @kartikaaryan. Going on floors early next year! Marking the coming together of #SajidNadiadwala, #KabirKhan & #KartikAaryan. This big scale spectacle is based on a true story!"
Kabir Khan is known to have some of the most loved films to his credit, including 'New York', 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and '83'.
Meanwhile, Kartik's latest release, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' shattered several box office records and ended Bollywood's dry spell at the theatres post the pandemic.
The actor is now awaiting the release of his next, titled 'Shehzada', which reunites him with his 'Luka Chhupi' co-star Kriti Sanon. The film is set to release in February 2023.
