BHOPAL : West-Central Railway General Manager Ramesh Chandra, on Thursday, took stock of the preparations being made at Bhopal railway station in the light of ‘Simhastha Kumbh Mela-2016’. He surveyed the work of laying of second line from Nishatpura Yard to Bairagarh station. Chandra also inspected Bairagarh station and discussed the possibility of opening a second entry with the officials.
Chandra instructed the officials at Bhopal station to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of drainage system. He inspected the facilities like foot over-bridge, waiting rooms, retiring rooms, reservation office, platforms and circulating areas. He discussed on construction of shade over Platform number one and foot over-bridge.
Divisional Railway Manager Alok Kumar, Chief Commercial Manager, Manoj Seth, Ajit Kumar Jain, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Neeraj Kumar, Brijendra Kumar, Pradeep Kumar Ojha, Rajesh Agarwal, Gaurav Singh, Samir Sehgal and other officials were also present on the occasion.
