I started playing the game when I was in class one at the age of six and I am still continuing. My coach is Satya Narayan Sharma. Now, I’m devoting the maximum time to studies because I have to face board exams next year. I got great support from my parents as well as teachers,”
He also plays the sythensiser. “I don’t like English. It’s a very boring subject.” Dixit is also a state-level badminton player and has won several championships. He also participated in International Karate Championship held in Mumbai and also selected to represent India in SAF Games held in Seoul.
On being asked why he wants to be a civil servant, the young karate player says, “If we talk about urban development our country is far behind western nations. So I want to develop urban areas.”
