BHOPAL : A team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) interrogated the crime branch officials posted in Indore about the status of hard disc seized from Vyapam senior system analyst Nitin Mahindra which was manipulated.
Sources claim that the CBI questioned the officers of the crime branch and other officials regarding the arrest and the clues about the Vyapam scam. The Rajendra Nagar police filed a case on July 7, 2013 in the Vyapam scam. Later the case was transferred to crime branch and during the investigation police seized the hard disc from computer of Mahindra.
Police have arrested several other accused on the basis of evidences found from the hard disc.
While it has been alleged that the hard disc was manipulated, whistleblower Prashant Pandey has provided technical assistance to police to crack down the hard disc information. The STF had also taken help from Pandey.
After the investigation the police officials refused about the manipulation in the hard disc. The Indore police are now under scanner of the CBI.
