Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): ‘Arey Ruk jaa,…’ exclaimed Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav when MLA Rameshwar Sharma was applying more and more colours to him joyously.

A Holi celebration was organised in state capital Bhopal at CM residence on Friday. One of the videos from the same has gone viral on social media, in which Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was seen playing colours with MLA Rameshwar Sharma and other politicians with great enthusiasm. 

In the video, CM Yadav can be seen sitting with MLA Sharma and other politicians, completely covered with colours. 

Meanwhile,  MLA Sharma gets up with a bottle filled with ‘pakka rang’ and pours it over the CM. Others also applied gulal on CM Yadav’s face. 

Later on, the MLA took out another packet of colours, seeing which, the CM stopped him and said, “Bas ab ruk jaa….! (Please stop now!)”

The CM was surrounded with security guards who were constantly keeping an eye on him to ensure his safety. 

The festival of Holi was celebrated with gaiety at CM residence in Bhopal. The event was filled with joy and festivity as leaders and supporters joined in the celebrations. Other than MLA Rameshwar Sharma, the event saw the presence of BJP state president VD Sharma, state organization general secretary Hitanand Sharma, MLA BD Sabnani, and several other dignitaries.

CM extended wishes 

CM Yadav emphasized that Holi is not just a festival of colors but also a symbol of brotherhood, harmony, and joy.

He highlighted that in Sanatan culture, festivals are celebrated according to seasonal changes, and Holi, observed on the full moon of the Phagun month, holds great significance as a festival of happiness and togetherness.

The Chief Minister urged people to celebrate Holi with love and unity, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood in society.
