BHOPAL : Two persons were electrocuted in the last 24 hours within the limits of Kolar and Shahpura police station. In the first incident, according to the Shahpura Police, when Murli Choubey, 55, son of Babulal, who lived in 776 Ajay Nagar, touched the door of the house he suffered an electric shock.
He was rushed to the National Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. Sources said that he was drawing power illegally from the supply line.
In another incident, the Kolar Police said, Mangu, 45, son of Goti Singh, who resided near Sagar Premium Tower in Sarvdharm C-Sector, suffered an electric shock on Thursday when he accidentally touched an exposed power supply cable. He died on the spot. In yet another incident a 77 year old man committed suicide by hanging self on Thursday morning at Karond area within the limits of Nishatpura police station.
According to Nishatpura police deceased Kamallal, 77, resided in Karond area. He had retired from postal department. He committed suicide by hanging self in his house on Thursday morning. The reason why he took such extreme step is unknown. Police have registered a case and started investigations.
