BHOPAL : Three separate incidents of burglary have been reported in the city on Sunday in which unidentified burglars decamped with valuables worth around Rs 2 lakh. The first burglary has been reported from Govindpura, while the second incident took place at Koh-e-Fiza and third one was reported from Kolar.
According to police sources, Rajesh Kumar, a resident of N-3, B-Sector, Govindpura, had gone out of station on December 25. When he returned to his home, he found locks of main gate broken. He has lodged a complaint with Govindpura police and as per the complaint, miscreants decamped with silver glasses, silver spoons, a TV, a water container made of brass, five pairs of anklets, all to the tune of Rs 70,000.
Similarly, Jitendra Kumar, resident of Flora Residency in Koh-e-Fiza police station area, lodged a complaint with police. The miscreants decamped with jewelry worth Rs 97,000 after breaking locks of his house.
The culprits had scattered the entire household belongings all over the house before stealing jewellery and other items.
In Kolar, a burglary was reported from Mandakini Complex. Rajendra Paliwal lodged the complaint with police.
The thieves decamped with silver coins and other jewelleries worth Rs 32,000 from his house.
