BHOPAL : Cold wave continued to sweep large parts of the state on Tuesday. Pachmarhi recorded 8.0°C while Gwalior and Naugaon recorded 4.0°C, which was the lowest in the state.
Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 23.3°C which was 2°C below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 8.4°C which was 3°C below normal. On Monday, the night temperature was 10.2°C. So, it was drop of over 2°C.
Gwalior recorded a maximum temperature of 22.9°C which was 1°C below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 4°C which was 3°C below normal.
Pachmarhi recorded a maximum temperature of 24.0°C which was 2°C above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 8.0°C which was 1°C above normal.
Khajuraho recorded a maximum temperature of 23.4°C which was 2°C below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 4.6°C which was 3°C below normal.
As per the meteorological department, cold wave-like conditions may prevail at isolated places in Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Shahdol, Rewa, and Ujjain divisions and Rajgarh, Raisen districts. Frost-like condition is likely to prevail in Raisen, Tikamgarh, Chhattarpur, Gwalior and Rewa districts. Rain and thundershower would occur at isolated places over Balaghat, Mandla, Anuppur and Dindori districts.
