KHARGONE : To check the quality of midday meal, the concerned employees should taste it before serving it to the children. Collector Neeraj Dubey stated this while presiding over the meeting of all the departments organised on Monday.
He directed the district programme officer of woman and child development and district project coordinator, to make sure that the meal is safe and for that, Aanganwadi will taste the food before serving it. He then directed the chief medical and health officer to confirm that the health workers and supervisors should stay at their designated headquarters. Likewise, Sub divisional officer was directed to check revenue inspector and Patwari also stay at their headquarters. He said that if anyone found absent from the headquarters then their wages would be cut and disciplinary action would also be taken.
Talking about spreading awareness regarding vector-borne diseases like Malaria, Dengue and Swine flu, he said that villagers should be informed about its symptoms and precautions. He also directed the tehsildars and CEOs to dispose most of the cases during Jansunwai and remain present in the hearing.
