BHOPAL: The police, on Tuesday, arrested six accused in connection with the murder of a 28- year-old parking contractor, whose body was recovered on bypass road in Kanhasaiya village under Bilkhiriya police station on October 17.
The accused were identified as Nikki alias Ravi Vishwakarma, 24, resident of Panchsheel Nagar, Ankit Tiwari, 25, resident of Panchsheel Nagar, Ravi Rana, 23, resident of Tulsi Vihar Awadhpuri, Bablu alias Garden.
The deceased Narendra Patel (28), son of Suresh Patel, a resident of Ravishankar Nagar, 12 number stop near Habibganj, was a parking contractor.
ASP Mayank Awasthi said that the deceased used to take contracts from Bhopal Municipal Corporation.
Accused Bablu also used to take contracts. Nikki and Ankit were working together for the past two months and Bablu used to support them in getting contracts. There was a dispute between Nikki and Narendra over a payment of Rs 25000 which Narendra had borrowed from him three years ago.
Police got a tip off that a Pajero car MP08 CA 0011 was used by the murderers to dispose of the body. Ravi Rana, who is the owner of the car, told police that Nikki had taken the car from him.
They had planned to execute the murder over a month ago and had appointed Dinesh to keep a close eye on him.
Rakesh Bisht, 34, resident of Almora Uttarakhand currently staying at Shahpura, Dinesh Parchwani, 26, resident of Shalimar Homes Arera Colony and Tinku alias Shyam Namdev, 26, resident of Ashoka.
