Sendhwa : Sendhwa municipal council is now covered by CCTV cameras. President of the municipal council Arun Chaudhary started the CCTV camera surveillance by clicking a mouse.
There have been cases where unsocial elements get into an argument because of petty reasons, and followed by small cases of stealth. Installing CCTV cameras was also important as lot many women visit the premises because of different reasons. The cameras will now be keeping an eye on the activities of anti-social elements, and also on employees. The cameras will also keep an eye on the activities of the office staff and will make sure that they stay in the office premises. Municipal Corporation office premises saw installation of around 16 cameras, where the entrance has around 3 cameras installed. The main office has around 10 cameras, so that every one in the premises can be watched. The control room of these cameras is linked to the Chief Municipal Officer. Chaudhary also said that he can stream these cameras on his mobile phone and can take decisions instantly, based on these camera footages. BJP spokesperson Sunil Agrawal, Praksh Nikum, Dayanand Patidar, Amit Jadhav, Deepak Mohanti, Rajkumar Dhomone and others were present on the occasion. Chaudhary also said that a thumb impression machine too had been installed in the office to register the attendance of the employees, which is giving good results.
