‘Rule of six’ to be followed at public places in Madhya Pradesh

Government issues fresh guidelines, to remain effective till July 31

BHOPAL: The state government has issued the orders to follow the ‘rule of six’, while going to market or other public places. The new corona guideline has been issued by the government on Wednesday and it will remain enforced until July 31.

The state government is gradually lifting restrictions as the second wave of corona is getting weaker day by day. But eying the possible third waive, the government has decided to continue the ban on the social, political, sports, entertainment, cultural, religious, fete and other events where the number of people gather.

With regard to reopening of the schools and colleges, the government is issuing orders separately. All the coaching classes will continue to remain closed till further orders, while online classes can be run in the state.

Any training programme can be organised with the strength of 50 per cent.

All places of worship have been opened but not more than six people gather there at a spot at a time. All the shops and business enterprises can run as per the time prescribed by the government. Cinema halls and theatres have already been permitted up to 50 per cent of seating capacity following all Covid protocols. All the gym and fitness centres can operate with 50 per cent capacity. All the sports activities can be organised and the stadium can be opened, but without spectators. The hotels and restaurants are being allowed to open till 10 pm with 100 per cent capacity. There is no restriction in the inter-state and intra state transportation.
