Bhopal: Minister for public works Rampal Singh, instructed officers posted in fields through video conferencing here on Monday to repair the roads damaged due to rains as soon as possible.
Singh urged them to tour on a regular basis and also maintain a diary.
Chief engineers should tour at least thrice a week. He said the work done by executive engineer, superintending engineer and chief engineer will be reviewed every month.
Singh said roads should be repaired immediately.
He said repairing of Raisen-Rahatgarh road should be done soon. The responsibility of road repairing will be of concerned executive engineer. Singh directed repairing of Kaliasot bridge, Bareli-Khargone road, Vidisha-Ahmadpur road, Bhopal-Bairasia road, Sehore-Rehti road, Bhopal-Berasia-Shamshabad road, Ganjbasoda-Sironj road and Obaidullahganj-Rehti road. He said chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should not find roads in bad shape during his visits.
