BHOPAL : A meeting of Divisional Railways Consumer Advisory Committee took place here on Thursday. Divisional Railway Manager Alok Kumar addressing the meeting said facilities of coach guidance system on Bhopal and Vidisha stations are being provided.
The water treated by Reverse Osmosis (RO) is being provided at reasonable price to the passengers.
Kumar said 20 additional counters at Bhopal station and 5 additional counters at Guna stations would be opened for the devotees coming for Simhastha. Temporary sheds at platform 6 of Bhopal station and platform no.1 at Guna station are being made. CCTV cameras will keep an eye for the safety of pilgrims on Bhopal station. Second foot over-bridge at Bhopal station is being constructed.
DRM Kumar said Bhopal Division has achieved the feat of ending of unmanned railway crossing in August 2015.
The members of the Committee namely CP Jaiswal, Pradeep Mittal, Niranjan Wadhwani, Thakurdas Nagwanshi and Brijesh Tiwari also gave suggestions in the meeting.
