Ratlam : Pran Vayu drive for sapling plantation is gaining momentum in the district as people in large numbers are coming forward to join the campaign with enthusiasm and plant saplings.
According to sources, this year more attention is being paid towards the protection and survival of the saplings planted. Special kinds of saplings with strong survival qualities have also been imported by the district administration from other states to boost the plantation drive. Further safety net and tree guards are also being installed to protect the saplings from stray cattle.
