Over 200 women taught internet under Digital India

BARWAH : In the view of ongoing Digital India and Digital Madhya Pradesh, more than 200 women were taught internet at four centers in a group of 50 to 75 women in every session. The training is being provided by Master Trainers of Prestige Institute.

The second session of the E-Empowerment Campaign training was inspected by the central government’s information technology secretary R S Sharma and MP state secretary Hariranjan Rao at the Excellent School. They inquired after the virtual class in the state. The campaign is being conducted with support of Airtel and the women workers of 8 departments are being trained to performe their duties on internet.

During the session, Sharma said that with the use of internet the routine works can be simplified and can be performed faster. Internet solves tough problems. The society development can be seen in the view of realizing the presence of internet from kitchen work to the trip to foreign. The MP state secretary hariranja Rao spoke over the importance and need of the internet. He described how women and can use the internet to be update about government work, holidays, festivals and many others. Addressing on the occasion, the Airtel CEO Veer Indernaath gave message to women to become part of the development by joining the primary stream. He said that over 1.5 lakh women have undergone the training.
