BHOPAL : The CJM court, on Monday, kept the order on property attachment of mining baron Sudhir Sharma, reserved for Tuesday. Sharma was to turn up to court on July 21 but he did not appear. Hearing on Sharma’s anticipatory bail in Supreme Court is on Tuesday.
The court had declared him absconder and Monday was the last date for Sharma to appear before the court but Sharma did not appear. STF submitted the documents regarding his properties. But the court reserved the order on attachment till Tuesday. In this way, Sharma got 24 hour more for appearance in the court.
STF has already declared a reward of Rs 5000 on Sharma who is wanted in
sub-inspectors and Constables’ recruitment fraud. Even his name appeared in FIR. The court may order after disposal of anticipatory bail in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
Advocate Pratul Shandilya, who appeared on behalf of Sudhir Sharma, said, “Sharma is not absconding.
On the contrary he is cooperating in investigation of STF. On Tuesday, there is hearing on anticipatory bail of Sharma”.
STF AIG Ashish Khare, while interacting with media in the court premises, said, “We have submitted the document of properties of Sharma and court has kept the order reserved till Tuesday.”
