Dhar : While the CM has given a green signal to Melas such as the Krishi Mela and the Antyoday Mela in rural areas of the city, officers of Dhar are still to act on the same on an official note.

While a fixed budget has been allocated by the state administration for organizing these Melas, the officials has not issued new tenders or advertisements in the local newspapers of the area.

It is also said that they have implemented the tenders notations to service venrdors of the previous year at rates which were applicable in December 2013. However the norms say that new tenders have to be issued on a yearly basis, after March 2014—the time when the new financial year begins. The norms also say that the officials need to release advertisements in two big newspapers of the regions as well.

While the collector Jaishree Kiwayat of the region happens to be pretty new to the area, the officials are believed to be misguiding them with regards to the Mahotsavas.
