BHOPAL : Expressing disappointment over mismanagement at Nadra Bus stand, Mayor Alok Sharma suspended ward in-charge Ramesh Rathore over dereliction of duty. Similarly, zonal officer zone-4 Arif Mohammed has been served show cause notice.
At Nadra Bus stand, Alok Sharma found a shop in place of water-kiosk so ward in-charge Ramesh Rathore has been suspended with immediate effect. And ZO Arif Mohammed has been served show cause notice. Instruction has been given for arrangement for mobile toilets, proper sanitation. Similarly, at platform no-1 of Railway station, auto stand has to be shifted to Sikandaria Saray.
Earlier, Mayor Alok Sharma said that pilgrims, devotees and tourists, who are going to Ujjain for ‘Simhastha’, will be provided better facilities in Bhopal. He said it while addressing a meeting with DRM Alok Kumar, BMC commissioner Chhavi Bharadwaj and others.
He said, “Proper arrangement will be made for rest for visitors at parking lots at platform no-6, platform no-1, Halalpur, Bairagarh, Nadra Bus stand, Bhauri, Habibganj Railway station, ISBT. Proper water supply, electricity, medical and other facilities will be provided for visitors. There will be control rooms and employees will be deployed on shifts of eight hours to monitor the proper arrangement”
Earlier, mayor, DRM, BMC commissioner inspected various place to take stock of the facilities and arrangement. They visited Railway station, Nadra Bus stand, Bairgarh Railways station, ISBT and Habibganj Railway station.
At Bairagarh, Mayor instructed for proper tent, sanitation, power and water supply. Dust bins installation, 108-Ambulance facility.
BMC commissioner orders to withhold salary of asst enggs
Expressing her disappointment, BMC commissioner Chhavi Bharadwaj instructed to withhold salaries of assistant engineers of Building permission. She instructed to redress the issue by the Saturday. She was addressing her first meeting held to review the progress in various departments.
She instructed to lift garbage in night in commercial pockets and by morning in residential areas. She instructed all the heads of various departments to complete work in time.
