BHOPAL : Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC), in order to attract tourists from Uttar Pradesh, has decided to give 40 per cent discount to residents of Uttar Pradesh in its selected units during their travel to the state. The residents of Uttar Pradesh will get this discount on taking package tour.
MPTDC Commissioner and Managing Director, Ashwini Lohani said Madhya Pradesh government is celebrating year 2015-16 as Tourism Year and several programmes are being organised. An attempt is being made to identify virgin spots and bring them on tourist map. He said a large number of tourists from Uttar Pradesh are desirous of visiting the state.
