BHOPAL : A trader was crushed and seriously injured by his neighbour over a petty quarrel on parking of car at Bag Sevania area. The accused knocked him down by his car and dragged up to 15 meters on the road while trying to run over him on Saturday.
According to police sources, 45-year-old Saurabh Sharma is an owner of a Sanchi parlour near Raja Bhoj Arcade located at Bag Sevania area. His neighbour Abhisek Parmar parked his car in front of his shop on Saturday. Sharma raised objection about it and both of them entered an argument. In the evening when Sharma was returning home after closing his shop, Parmar hit him by his car from behind. He fell down with his bike and dragged up to 15 meters from the spot but Abhisekh didn’t stop the car. Later the accused escaped with the car leaving Sharma severely injured on the spot.
The people from nearby spot rushed Sharma to a hospital where he is undergoing treatment in a critical condition. Police have registered a case against Parmar on the charge of attempt to murder and launched a manhunt to nab him. According to police sources, earlier the accused and victim had ensued in a scuffle a couple of day ago for the same reason. Bag Sevania police station in-charge Lalit Singh Dongare said a team of cops searched for the accused at his home but he was not found there. However, the cops got some important clues and assume to nab him soon.
