Sagar : In a bizarre incident, father of a 14 year old girl was arrested for raping her daughter. The police had arrested the culprit.
Father of a 14 year old girl was arrested by the Motinagar police on Wednesday, for raping his daughter. The mother of the victim had complained to the police that his husband had raped the girl. The accused had raped the girl some 4 -5 days ago when she was alone at home. The girl reported the matter to her mother. The man pleaded for forgiveness and promised to not to repeat the immoral act. But on Monday night, the culprit again tried to commit the sin.
On Tuesday, mother of the girl reached police station and reported the matter. She demanded death penalty for her husband and asked the police to hang her husband at the city square as an example.
The CSP Gutam Solanki informed that Motinagar police had arrested the culprit under section 376, and 7/8 PASCO act.
Man assaulted for complaining against eve teasers
In another incident in village Sironja a man was brutally beaten by five miscreants, who were teasing a girl. When her father reported the matter to the family members of the eve teasers, they assaulted him with axe and lathis; he received serious injuries on his head and leg. He had been admitted in the district hospital in a critical condition. The CSP informed that the Civil Line police had registered complaints from both sides. He claimed that it was not a case of eve teasing, both the parties had old dispute and the recent incident was result of that.
