Land dispute results in exchange of fire between two groups at Mandsaur

Mandsaur :  A Land dispute resulted in exchange of fires from both the sides, which sent whole of the village into a tizzy. It is reported that one of the sides had hired sharp shooters to grab a piece of land.

The police swung into action immediately after getting information about the incident. The police have seized a licensed gun, two pistols from one side and swords from the other side. No confirmation on official basis has been confirmed by the cops as of now.

YD Nagar police has arrested many people from both the sides. A case has been filed on the complaint of Aslam and Liyakat against 4 to 5 people including Munshi Ghoncha Vaseer, his son and 4 to 5 other people.

On the other hand a case has been registered by Lakhan, a resident of Indore against Liakat, Jabir, Afzal, Rais, Ajju and Ibrahim, Jagir.

Dispute related to measurement of land: TI Kishore Patanwala said that the lands of the both the parties are nearby and there are some disputes with regards to measurements. On Monday Munshi reached the disputed land along with Patwari, after which both the groups had an argument following exchange of fire.

Pistols and Guns recovered: According to the reports, Munshi Ghoncha came with around 15-20 men in jeeps. Some shooters of Dhar and Indore areas were also reported to be present amongst them.

He along with the Patwari reached the land to get it measured, after which Aslam and Liakat also reached there with their companions after which exchange of fires took place between both the sides. Shooters shot 4 to 6 rounds from their pistols and guns thereby sending the whole village into a state of panic.
