BHOPAL: Komen Cyclone will bring rains all over Madhya Pradesh from August 3. After a dry spell of a couple of the days, the state capital will witness a change in weather from Sunday evening onwards.
In the western region of the state, covering Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Ujjain and Indore divisions, the weather will start changing from Sunday evening and it will rain with gusty winds from August 4 onwards.
Director Meteorological department Dr Anupam Kashyapi said, “West Bengal and Odisha are already experiencing heavy rain. It will rain in the entire state due to Komen. The cyclone is moving towards Madhya Pradesh but slowly. It will enter Madhya Pradesh from the east so Sidhi, Mandla, Rewa, Satna and Singrauli will experience heavy rains from August 3 to 5. As far as the western region of the state is concerned, the weather will start changing from Sunday evening and it will experience rain from August 4 to 6. There will be gusty wind with speed ranging from 20 to 35 kmph. Dr Kashyapi said that cyclonic storm Komen, which has become a deep depression, has already brought rains to different districts of West Bengal and Odisha.
