BHOPAL: Forest Minister Gaurishankar Shejwar, during discussion on a call attention motion in the House on Wednesday, rendered unsolicited advice to Minister Lal Singh Arya in a lighter vein.
Shejwar told Arya that it is not necessary to always follow what officers tell us. He said if people are facing problems then one should think from their perspective.
Shejwar said this during discussion on disposal of waste in Sagar and Pilukhedi. MLA Girish Bhandari had raised the issue of pollution in Pilukhedi. The MLA claimed that Department of Public Health Engineering Department has put a ban on using hand pumps for drinking water. Bhandari alleged that industries are causing pollution in the area and there is nexus between government officers and industry owners. When Arya denied the allegation, Shejwar intervened and gave a word of advice to the former. Arya said that the matter would be investigated by a team from Bhopal.
MLA Rameshwar Sharma during call attention motion, raised the issue of disposal of waste. He said people face inconvenience due to burning of waste at any place.
