BHOPAL : The launch of investigations by CBI into Vyapam scam has made STF nervous. There were irregularities in the investigations conducted by STF into Vyapam scam which may land STF into troubled waters.
STF arrested more than 2000 accused in the scam but it has not recorded statements of many of the accused so far.
According to sources, STF has started searching for the statements of accused when CBI team arrived in the city. Former Minister Laxmikant Sharma was arrested by STF in several cases and taken on remand but it does not have his written statements in many cases. STF is now preparing to give it in writing to CBI that many accused have not signed their statements.
STF arrested many students who were not selected. It may have to clarify its stand in this matter too. STF, for the sake of rectifying all irregularities in investigations of Vyapam scam, is seeking time from CBI.
STF had never imagined that CBI would be assigned the task of investigations into Vyapam scam and that is it did not bother to correct the faults in the documents.
