House of BU prof burgled

BHOPAL: A band of burglars targeted the house of a professor located on Barkatullah University campus on Monday. SHO, Bagsewania police station,  said Prof Vinay Shrivastava, HoD, Bioscience, lives in the university campus. He had gone to Nainital since June 10 along with his family. According to information he had assigned the responsibility of looking after his house to one of his peons. When the peon went to the house on Tuesday he found that locks were broken and the house was ransacked. He informed the police. SHO said that a case has been registered against unidentified burglars. However, the information about the burgled booty could be known once the Shrivastavas returns. (FPNS)
