Alirajpur: An awareness rally was taken out by the self-help women groups in the city in order to spread awareness regarding health, education and environment under the Madhya Pradesh state rural livelihood mission.
This was organised under the guidance of Pachli Bai and Mirli Bai of Gaytri Self-help group, who visited Varangale district of Andhra Pradesh to participate in the educational and training programme. In the training programme, they got to know about the upliftment of the women of the district who transformed their lives.
Thus, inspired with the efforts of those women, they organised the rally and spread various messages. They have planted trees and urged the villagers to send their children to schools and also informed them about the health and sanitation. Villagers, Sarpanch and other officials of the city appreciated their initiative and assured them to support.
