BHOPAL: The MP High Court on Tuesday rejected a plea by Leader of Opposition in State Vidhan Sabha Satyadev Katare seeking registration of an FIR against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan for irregularities in appointments in Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. Katare had submitted application to register FIR in the case of contractual appointments in Makhanlal Varsity in the year 2010. the high Court said that there was no case for filing FIR. Applicant Katare had charged that no FIR was registered on the complaint submitted by him to Lokayukta.
It was argued on behalf of the respondent CM Chauhan that Katare did not submit concerning documents when he was asked to do so by Lokayukta to prove crime. Therefore the High Court refused to admit the application for hearing.
