KHANDWA : A Haat Bazaar would be made at Sunderdev at a cost of Rs 50 Lakh. Bhumi pujan for the Haat was performed by the Local MLA and civil supplies minister Kunwar Vijay Shah during his visit here on Sunday.
The minister, during his visit to the area performed bhumi pujan of several development works and also made announcements. His spokesman, Sunil Jain said that the Haat Bazaar will be constructed at the tribal village of Sunderdev. The minister also sanctioned Rs 80 thousand for a tin-shed at the society.
Addressing a gathering, the minister said that the fair price shops would open from 10 am to 4 pm daily from 1 August and consumers will get ration from 1 November through a new system of thumb machine (bio-metric). He announced that a bridge will be constructed at Sunderdev on the demand of villagers, a corn procurement center will be set up at Sunderdev Golai and a concrete road will be constructed from Sunderdev to Adhakheda.
Member of parliament Jyoti Dhurve, Santosh Soni, Tulsiram Verma, Dinesh Jaiswal, Rajesh Tiwari, SDM Verma, CEO Rathore, RES AE JP Gaur and others were present on this occasion.
