Katni : The grocery shops which were operated from Kachahari Chowraha to State bank Tiraha will be shifted near old bus stand.
Municipal Corporation has carried out an anti-encrochment drive to remove the encroachments, which were present there since many years. The shopkeepers protested against the action but the officers didn’t listened a word. As soon as the team reached the spot, tea shopkeeper immediately started to pack up their stuff and fled the scene. After removing all the illegal shops from the venue, the hospital road has become much clear.
According to the sources, two transport firm operators had captured the area for long time and constructed a building on government land which was sabotaged in the action taken by the team.
