Grand Kalash Yatra taken out

Thikari: A grand religious ‘Kalash Yatra’ was taken out in the city from Tahsil premises. The idol yatra of Ma Durga was also part of the rally. Pandit Santosh Sharma informed that a special puja to worship Lord Ganesh was performed on Sunday. Over 200 girls participated in the yatra. The yatra received flower shower and was accompanied with the bands. It passed through Chaupat and Gandhi Chowk. The rally ended at the Kattar Colony situated newly constructed temple. A huge ‘Bhandara’ will take place on December 3 from morning 10 to evening 5.
