BHOPAL:The teacher of a private college in the city was robbed of his gold chain by 3-bike-borne youth in broad day light in Govindpura area on Saturday evening. The Govindpura police on the complaint of the victim teacher registered a case under section 392 of the IPC against the three unidentified youths and started investigations. According to Govindpura police, Sandeep Das, 32, son of Hemendra Das, resident of Rishipuram Phase-1, works is a teacher in TIT College. He was returning by his car from college on Saturday evening around 6.30 pm when the incident took place. In his complaint he said that when he reached in front of Palace Orchard near his home three-bike-borne youth waylaid him. One of the youth stayed on the bike while the other two started quarrelling with him saying that he tried to hit them by his car. Saying this the youth grabbed his collar, while the victim was sitting on the driving seat of the car and talking to them, and in the meantime snatched the gold chain he was wearing. Subsequently the youth fled the spot on their bike. Police is bit suspicious of the incident as firstly the incident took place at a spot on which there is too much traffic. Secondly the victim could not give any details of the bike of the accused.
