BHOPAL: Kolar police arrested six people in connection of gambling and recovered around Rs 10,000 cash and playing cards from their possession on intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
According to police, all the arrested miscreants were identified as Santosh Ratre, Shobharam Jatav, Shivakumar Dehariya, Santosh, Sandeep Banjare and Dhanprasad Baghel.
SHO, Kolar, Gaurav Singh Bundela said, “Arrest was made following tip-off from an informer that few people were indulged in gambling at Damkheda slum area after which police team raided the gambling den and arrested all the six red-handed. Police have recovered Rs 10,000 cash and playing cards from the arrested gamblers.”
