BHIKANGAON : A man and his son died of electrocution that also left mother, wife and younger son severely injured following electric shocks they received in bid to save their family members at Bhatalpura Village on Friday.
The father and a son had died before they were rushed to the hospital whereas the mother, wife and younger brother of the son injured severely in bid to save to their family members and were admitted to Khandwa district hospital.
According to the villagers, the incident took place due to fall of electric wire in water tank where the deceased Dharmendra had gone to take some water and received electric shocks and started to screaming for help. Following which father Hukum who reached the spot to save his son also electrocuted. It has to mention that mother, wife and younger brother of deceased Dharmendra also received electric shocks in bid to save Hukum and Dharmendra.
The mother, wife and younger son have been admitted at district hospital and are being treated the doctors. The officers of Power Distribution Company and police reached the spot on Saturday after getting the information about the incident. It has to mention that the open wirings are being considered as main caused behind occurred incident. Further investigation is also being carried out.
