HOSHANGABAD : The meeting of agriculture technology management agency (ATMA) governing board was organised on Thursday in which district panchayat chief executive officer Abhijeet Agrawal said that sweet corn production is being done in the whole state.
There is a lot of scope for sweet corn production and the need is only that the farmers should be encouraged, because there is abundant production of maize and there will be no difficulty in it. He also said that a publicity campaign is also needed for sweet corn production. Agrawal also said that the new ways of technology must be accessible to the marginal farmers. Kharif season has started recently so it is essential that this message should reach each and every farmer that the selection of crop should be made according to the farm and a discussion should be made for this task.
