BHOPAL: Five helipads have been created and four large size stages have been set up for oath taking ceremony of Kamal Nath at Jamboree Maidan, BHEL, which is going to take place on Monday for formation of new government. Over one lakh people, including party workers and supporters of senior leaders, are likely to attend the swearing- in ceremony.
Political heavyweights will land directly at Jamboree by helicopters from Airport whereas vehicular traffic from Mahatma Gandhi Square to Awadhpuri will remain closed for those reaching to the function by road. One stage will be for Governor Anandiben Patel who will administer oath to Kamal Nath whereas second one will be for VVIPs. Third stage, will be for relatives of Kamal Nath and fourth one sadhu and saints. There will be at least 30ft of gap between two stages. District administration has formed five teams to manage the ceremony.
First team has been deployed at state hanger and second one at airport. “Third one has been deployed at helipads and fourth one at stages and fifth one will look after green room at Jamboree. Five to seven officials –SDM, ASPs, CSPs, tehsildars have been inducted in each of team,” official sources said. Besides, nearly 3000 policemen including 15 IPS and 100 DSPs have been pressed into job of security. IG Jaideep Parsad has been made in-charge of security. Police Head Quarters (PHQ) will have close vigil on operation and execution of entire security.
As over 1000 VVIPs are coming to attend oath ceremony, local police have been put under SPGs instructions. SPGs held series of meetings with local police officials on Sunday. Security officials undertook mock drill also for VVIPs security and as many as 121 MLAs— 114 of Congress, 4 independents, two BSP, and one SP.
