BHOPAL : DNA test facility will be started soon in Bhopal. Besides, one of 11 new police stations to be opened in state will be at Katara Hills in Bhopal.
Demand for Grant of Rs 5717.57 crore has been passed for department of Home and Jail in Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday. Home minister Babulal Gaur said, “DNA test facility will be soon started in Bhopal. Six thousand police men will be yearly appointed. Eleven new police station, 21 chowkey will be started in MP. Besides, various chowky will be upgraded to police station.”
Home minister said, “Modern technology is being used to check the crimes in the state. High tech communication system has been installed at squares at metros to track the mistreatments.
Official work is being performed through CCTNS at 1029 police station and 428 offices of senior police officials. CCTV cameras have being installed at 1972 points in 61 cities of the state. And process is on for installation of CCTV sets at 832 in 11 cities is at final stage. Full proof arrangement is being made for security in Simhastha. Nearly 5 crore devotees are expected to attend Simhastha and 25,000 police men will be trained for it.” Earlier, Congress MLA Mukesh Nayak said, “Madhya Pradesh is no-1 in rapes cases as per national crime record bureau(NCRB). So there is need to concentrate on security and safety of the common man. It reflects that there is deterioration of law and order all over the state.” Congress MLA Jitu Patwari cornered the home department on alleged deteriorated law and order in the state. He said that as per the NCRB reports, MP is no-1 in various crime including rapes.
