BHOPAL : CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, addressing the gather at the launch of Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DICCI), MP Chapter on Saturday, said that an integrated policy to financially empower scheduled castes and scheduled tribes in every areas of the state will be formed.
Union minister for social justice and empowerment Thawarchand Gehlot was also present at the launch.
CM said that an attempt to set up one industry in every village panchayat would be made.
Efforts have been made to increase self-employment opportunities in every sector through the policy for micro, small and medium industries to enable youths to become employers rather than job seekers. He said the youths in the state have requires little guidance and support to their capability, talent, competence and imagination. Chouhan urged DICCI to help the government develop business leaders from weaker sections.
Chouhan congratulated PM Modi-led Central government on completion of four years. He said that PM has launched several new schemes and the schemes like Stand-Up has helped in extending financial support to the beneficiaries of SC and ST categories.
DICCI founder president and Padmashree recipient, Milind Kamble said the Chapter would support in preparing 5000 entrepreneurs in a year and propagate the schemes in public.
DICCI, South India Unit President and Padamshree recipient, Ravi Kumar Nara, Western India Unit, President Nishchay Shelke, Dr Anil Sirvaiya also spoke on the occasion. MLA Vishnu Khatri, principal secretary, woman and child development, JN Kansotia, senior officers and entrepreneurs were present.
