Demand for hike in turnover limit

Ratlam : The Grains and Seeds Merchants Association demanded that the tax liability limit on wheat turnover should be Rs.20 crore instead of Rs.5 crore. A General meeting of the association was held in which strong discontentment was expressed towards the levy of one percent tax on wheat turnover if it exceeds Rs.5 crore presently. A delegation will soon meet the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding the issue. President Surendra Chhattar presided over the meet.
